Leak Detector Specialist

Vacumetrics Corp, located in East Taunton, MA is a small, well-established company specializing in customer service and repair of helium leak detectors (Leybold, Inficon, Pfeiffer, Agilent, Laco, and Varian). We have built a reputation of exceptional customer service amid growth and expansion.
Position Overview:
We have a position available, for an electrical-mechanical technician, to work in field service and at the company facility. Full time position.
*Monday-Friday (flexible day hours) *70% Travel *Occasional Overnights (3-4/month)
Responsibilities:
- Field Service – Troubleshooting, Technical Support, and Leak Detector Repair.
- Facility Services – Leak Detector Repairs, Pump Rebuilds, Various Shop Maintenance.
- Preventative Maintenance - machine overhauls.
- Service Reports - for work performed.
- Quality Customer Support
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in mechanical, electrical-mechanical field, or high vacuum technology or 2-4 years experience in related fields.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to handle multiple and changing priorities.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Patience, positive attitude, motivation, willingness to learn, independent worker.

- Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Range $50,000
